Because He Loves Me

A kid coughed in my mouth today. Like I needed to get more sick.

Second last hour to the day. Sitting at a kid's table with two of my students, ages 5 and 6. They're colouring, my head is down whilst writing. Six year old, Mr. Who, leans over into my face.

"Just a minute, let me finish this fir--"

Mr. Who: KAHEH!

"Why did you just cough right into my MOUTH?!"

Little M: "I think he loves you, that's why he do that."

". . . ."
